woohoo...looong time haven post alr..lazy to type blogger.com. lol. anyway...just wanna talk abt my life so far...loads of downs n whrs the ups?? 2 wks bac went long beach seafood celebrate jolynn's b'day..her dad treated the cg to a $--- dinner...had like 3 crabs..OMG. paiseh at first but oh well...we had to eat, so we happily tucked in after a while. there was also wine..white. shared a few glasses wit gw. my face wasn't red..unimaginably. ytd also went to eat crab with grandma n aunt..shiok!! thn went up to her hse for donuts n mango..yea!! dunno when i'm gonna buy somemore donuts from DF or J.CO. common test...didn't do very well, failed 2 subs..math n chinese..did't hav time to finish n for the latter...CMI la..expected..all i can do is practice more n hope 4 the best. cg on fri my 2nd breakthrough as a guitarist for cg..played worship n got pretty gd comments from eugene n zongyuan. jus gotta improve on free worship part..went to both expo svcs n found tat sun was totally packed...didn't think ppl would wake up so early. today as usual..during art i found tat i actually had submitted 1 piece..wow..n now i nd to work on another 5...tats all..post again when i hav time.

today's lesson was still meaningful although i was a bit faster n i'm like starting to play for cg so bro poh wants to change my slot to somewhere where i can go up another level. anyway..i learnt some monster chords n some others tat i never knew of. thn went to cwp meet gw to see some stuff..btw..bro poh guitars are like so freaking nice..n the electric dave holmes gave him is like WOW!! the taylor he has also is a best seller n onli 4k plus. so much worth then the 7k, 8k plus..a mahagony top with rosewood b/s...never seen a mahagony top b4..thought it was spruce. also saw his 'vintage' takamine..yea..another taka user..okays.. tats all for now..

woke up from a bad headache so didnt go sch. nth much to update reali except for on monday at brother poh...one of the best guitarists in Singapore called me to ask me a few questions cos i'm gonna learn from him. so here goes the conversation....(roughly la)

poh: ok ok..great becos my aim is to train up cg guitarists n if u have the potential, play for the other sevices. (thn he starts talking abt the other students he has trained n risen up to play in other services like jessle)

me: ya n i'm actually on my way to mediacorp to support dreamfactory.
poh: ic..both the guitarists from dreamfactory n da feng chui are my students (i was like OMG)
me: okok.
poh: k..jus 5 mins is it ok?

me: yup.

when i told the rest brother poh called they were like..shocked? yq asked me to tell him in detail wad he asked me...they also shocked abt wad he told me...paying $200 per mth for 2 mths is sure worth it. n travelling there is nth compared to wad u r gonna impart from him. those hu haven signed up like yq n nat..save up n go!! tats all..bye.

oh no..blog rotting..anyway changed skin n finally got photoshop up n running! but my stupid k850i spoil! again! now i cant hear anything whn taking calls..wth. sending for repair whn i got time. Service was great!! praise n worship was the best yet..jessle(sorry..dun noe how reali spell) did a solo part..OMG!! so shuai la..maybe i can do wad he did..finger-tapping n using his tongue to "pick the strings". woohoo!! the bassists also did a solo part. still got style de wor..see if i can find the svc recording, i'll put it up..sermon also quite good..pst. very funny la..dun wanna go deep into it but it was abt u n ur life la..basically..started playing for cgm..i must say for now nrevous is my best friend..so far i'm playing only praise, waiting 4 a chance to take on worship, but i thank God for giving me this chance n rising me up..let no one despise your youth!! i still rmb the 1st time i played..my pick flew, very slippery..combined with doro somemore..1st time mah...very nervous. ytd went for children church new workers' tea straight after svc n pst. eileen layed hands..woohoo...this yr i dunno how many ppl lay hands on me alr sia...got my cert for completing MIC. n i was challenged to 1 day play for childrens church..of cos start small at expo svcs. post more pics whn i have them..of derrick's bday.

update on youth camp!! finally got time. more pics will be uploaded in the nxt few days. Highlights of the 3 days.


DAY 1 : met jolynn thn went to yishun to meet agnes eat mac 1st. tat will be our last 'good' meal for the nxt 3 days. thn waited for sharry n irene to come thn go pres high. while waiting for registration to start, played gw's guitar for awhile. after registering, went up to seminar for camp briefing. I'm in ROCK2, actually it's all the members of elite2be a.k.a derrick's, willie's n doro's. n ROCK stands for Relying On Christ our King. woohoo!! next..telematch..went around playing diff sorts of games n got water bomb somemore. got wet. haha. sessions with pst. CK. lay hands. lights out 2.45 a.m. woke up at 6. only got 3 hrs of slp.


DAY 2 : morning devotion followed by sports. thn evangelistic meetings. 1st one was for secondary level thn tertiary. sonia sang. video below. after tat got buffet..thx to doro..if not we no food liao. wanted to ton..but derrick come chase us n some other ppl to our bunks..big kee liang also..wah..damn fierce la. high ranking guy in the army.


DAY 3 : morning devotion thn session wit pst. he layed hands on mentors thn mentors layed hands on us. fell twice. 1st was a i dunno hu brother. thn yong qiang!! finale n home sweet home.

start with camp...overall comments, tiring but fun. a bit too little food n it seriousy sux (no offense), eating that for 4 days!! omg!! its worser thn NS food. wad u expect anyway..camp..its a basic leadership camp..so u learn leadership. i'm already a YL so grp leader. stress. got the hang of it aft day 1 but didnt manage to get to go for workshop..wadever, rather stay home thn be in sch for 1 night. can play my taka(tats my guit), got happie(my dog) to play with also. day 1: i knew the whole plan quite early..frm sch, the bus drove to somewhere near bt panjang area which was not even near DFAC(dairy farm aventure centre). frm there, got to checkpoint 1...bt timah hill, the summit..omg!! thn frm there to campsite..total, abt 5-6 km with everything we needed for the 4D3N...including 2 1.5l bottles filled!! whn we got to camp, outdoor cooking..thn talk talk talk, bed. day 2: leadership talk followed by NYAA talk, main highlights, dun wanna type too much..day 3: high elements...abseiling...challenge ropes...rock wall..a bit boring...campfire night..my group did cheers thn crank that dance thn cheer again n finish. my other performance was for YLs. we did a song n done..time constrain..day 4: b'fast thn home!! yea!! but on the bus, whn we all got our hp n wallets bac..i didnt get my hp..OMG!! sure not?? kk..thn bac at sch..found tat quite alot of ppl hp also missing...found in other buses bag whr all the items are kept or their name stickers dropped off n landed in mr joe's item bag..so tats camp..bs on wed..on our way bac, agnes keep on joking thn the ppl standing in front of us wan laugh dun wan laugh like tat..damn paiseh..haha..got 1 still laughing alr...its the whole row of ppl!! omg..kk..tats all..post again sometime nxt wk..

Finally..exams over!! marking day so no sch..went for pm at jojo hse, waited
a while for frens to go...thn played great is our god, hosanna n alleluia..not bad
la..shld do a recording some time..willie said CAN alr but nd some improvement
n FLOW FLOW FLOW..going bac ministry tmr..WOOHOO!! bac with n11.. thn got
to face 3 noisy ppl...haha. going to be a cell guitarist soon..few more mths.
